Check-in for RV and tent sites begins at 1:00 p.m. Check-in for cottages and Jupes begins at 4:00 p.m. Checkout is 11:00 a.m. for all reservations. Guests checking into tent sites should complete setup before quiet hours begin at 10:00 p.m.

Early check-in is based on availability and whether the site or accommodation is ready when you arrive. Early access cannot be guaranteed.

Late checkout may be available depending on availability, and additional fees may apply. Contact the front desk to ask about availability for your departure date.

Follow the late-arrival instructions provided before your stay. Upon arriving after hours, call the Night Ranger at (805) 295-1040 for assistance.

Use the overflow parking lot until your site or accommodation becomes available. Follow any parking-pass instructions provided by the property team.

One vehicle is included with RV sites, Jupes, Car-Tent Sites and Cottages. Walk-In Tent Sites must purchase a $10 nightly pass for each vehicle. Additional vehicles are $10 per vehicle, per night and require a parking pass. Extra vehicles must use lined parking spaces on the property.

Yes. Day-pass parking is $5 for visitors and beach use. It is valid for day use only and does not allow overnight parking.

Visitors are welcome during non-quiet hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Visitor vehicles may require a parking pass and applicable parking fee.

Unlicensed personal golf carts are prohibited. A street-legal golf cart may be used in place of a personal vehicle. Gas-powered toys, quads, mini-bikes and skateboards are not permitted.

No. Third-party RV drop-offs are not permitted. The guest staying in the RV must be the person who drives the RV onto the property.

Guests in all stay types may want to bring a hot plate, utensils, plates and bowls because these items are not supplied by the property. Review the details for your selected stay type before packing.

For Walk-In Tent Sites, a tent sized for four people or fewer is recommended. For Car-Tent Sites, a tent sized for eight people or fewer, or multiple smaller two-person tents, is recommended. This is tent-size guidance, not an occupancy limit. All tents and equipment must fit completely within the decomposed-granite area of the assigned site.

Tent-site dimensions vary. Ocean Breeze sites tend to be longer than other tent sites. Choose equipment that fits completely within the decomposed-granite area of your assigned site.

Jupes are spacious accommodations of more than 100 square feet with a queen bed and Nectar mattress, high ceilings, birchwood flooring, storage, dimmable LED lighting and natural ventilation. They do not have air conditioning or heat. Solar-powered charging is very limited, is not guaranteed and should be used only for phone charging. Bring flashlights, battery packs and towels. Wi-Fi availability is not guaranteed.

Dogs are not allowed in Jupes. Cottages allow dogs for a $50 fee per dog, with a maximum of two dogs; cats are not permitted, and dogs may not be on the couch. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at RV and tent sites at no additional charge. Permitted dogs must have current vaccination records, be registered at arrival, remain leashed, never be left unattended and have their waste cleaned up. Yes. Showers are open 24 hours a day and are free for all registered guests. Laundry facilities are also open 24 hours a day. Washing and drying cost $5 total, payable by mobile app or credit card.

Wi-Fi access details are provided in your arrival information. Wi-Fi availability may vary and is not guaranteed in some dry camping areas. For TV or internet troubleshooting, call Tengo at 1-866-968-3646.

Report lost or stolen items to the main office immediately and keep valuables locked up during your stay. Flying Flags Avila Beach is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Recovered items are stored for up to 30 days.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Loud, objectionable noise and amplified music are not allowed. Guests should be considerate of others and follow property-team instructions.

External generators are prohibited. Internal, manufacturer-built generators may be used between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Fires are allowed only in designated gas fire pits and must use propane. Wood and charcoal burning are not permitted because the property is in a high-risk wildfire area.

Jupes, Dry RV Sites, Walk-In Tent Sites and Car-Tent Sites may rent propane bottles for $35 per bottle, based on limited availability. Guests are encouraged to bring their own propane bottle. Full Hook-Up RV Sites and Cottages include propane at no additional charge.

Smoking is prohibited on the entire property. Violations may result in a fine of up to $250.

Guests may display country, sports and vacation flags. Flags containing profanity, hateful speech or symbols, or Confederate imagery are prohibited and must be removed if requested by the property team. When displaying the American flag, follow proper flag etiquette. See VA Guidelines for Display of the Flag.

Policies are subject to change at management's discretion. Flying Flags Avila Beach reserves the right to refuse service. Failure to follow property procedures and policies may result in removal without a refund.

Accessible features include ADA-accessible parking near the entrance, parking space for ramp use, ramp access at entrances and exits, unobstructed pathways between parking and key property areas, and ADA-compliant walk-in showers with seats and adjustable shower heads in select units.
